Ocean City Events
There's always something going on. Ocean City has two spectacular fireworks displays on the Fourth of July, fishing tournaments (including August’s White Marlin Open--the East Coast’s largest deep sea fishing tournament), the 10 and 5 K “Run Away from Home” in the fall, the four days of Springfest in May and Sunfest in September, spring and fall classic car “cruising” weekends, the Bavarian festival, the Greek festival, the
Polish Festival, the Christmas Parade, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and the Winterfest of Lights in November and December, are just a few of our wonderful events. Ocean City's fun and enchanting all year long.

Tuesdays: Family Beach Olympics, 27th Street Beach (North end of the Boardwalk). Variety of Free Contests for All Ages (June 30-Aug. 11)
Each Tuesday evening features a variety of contests for all ages.
Events may include sand castle contests, tug-of-war, relays and more.
All activities are free and are offered from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Wednesdays: Concerts on the Beach, N. Division St. Beach. (July 15-Aug. 26)
Free live entertainment each week while you relax beside the cool Atlantic on warm summer nights.
Tribute bands & local favorites entertain each Wednesday at 8 p.m. Bring a blanket or chair & enjoy the evening.
Thursdays: Bonfire Hour, Free Local Lore Speakers around a Bonfire on the N. Division St. Beach. (July 9-Aug. 27)

OC Air Show
OC Beach & Boardwalk
The popular OC Air Show returns for its second year. This new event was a huge success in its inaugural year & is back even bigger! The OC Air Show, headlined by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, will feature military aircraft demonstrations, low altitude flyovers, parachute team jumps and civilian aerobatic performances over the Ocean City beachfront on Sat. & Sun., from noon to 4 p.m. The events will be visible along the entire length of the Boardwalk creating an inspiring experience for visitors while they enjoy the resort’s beaches and attractions. Interactive displays and exhibits, including NASA’s Exploration Experience, will be open to the public on the streets surrounding Show Center at 16th Street on the Boardwalk. Rehearsal day is Friday. Spectators can see the show free of charge, but VIP seating is also available. www.ocairshow.com.

Carousel Resort Hotel & Condominiums, 118th St.
Family event designed for amateur sand sculptors who compete for prizes including the Golden Trowel Award, while raising money for the OC Parrothead Club & their charity, Play It Safe. Events include a professional showcase, free reception for registered participants & music throughout the event. Costumed knights from Medieval Times will hold a choreographed fight on the beach at high noon. Saturday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Registration fees. Spectators free.
