Century I 0403

We arrived at the Unit (our first time at this place) and was horrified. The room was filthy. No countertop or end tables were cleaned. There were dirty hand prints on the mirrored walls in the bedroom. The glass doors on the shower looked like they have never been cleaned. My husband and I spend a good hour cleaning before we could enjoy our vacation. And in cleaning....we found a glass of red wine under the bed that had spilled and had been there a LONG time. The actual condo needs a lot of upgrades, but we did love the two floors and the set up was nice. The balcony has only half walls and you can see and smell (cigarette smoke) your neighbors. I prefer a full wall for complete privacy.

I love everything about Century 1... except the issue with beach access and water the stairs. Is there not a way to crate a ramp or something so guests don’t have lug carts and wagons up a flight of stairs one way and then down a flight of stairs to get to the elevator?

Rental took until after 5 for cleaning but was clean just too long of a wait to get into the room. Upstairs fine and patio furniture nice. Couch nice and updated kitchen and upstairs bathroom. Downstairs needed some OC especially the bathroom. Outdated!!!

Great view from the balcony. Very nice building Unit was nice everything worked as expected. Only complaint indoor pool was closed during the week due to some work being done on the exterior of the builing luckily we had good weather! Beach lockers are a nice thing to have.

There were old beach chairs and other items that were laying in the area near the door. The linen company never picked up the used linen from the week before so we had 2 bags of dirty laundry sitting by the door for a whole week. Otherwise it’s a nice unit. Would rent again

I love our annual vacation stays at Century 1. I have two complaints but this isn’t a unit issue, it’s a building issue.

1. The stairs going to the beach are a real safety hazard. I travel with my 75 year old father and every year it almost falls. It’s a struggle to get carts up and down the stairs. Why isn’t there a ramp or at least a cut through from the pool level straight through to the beach?

Great condo in great location. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. We can't wait to go back next year.
